CONSENT TO PROCESS PERSONAL INFORMATION

In Terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (hereinafter referred to as “POPI’), a “Responsible Party” (in this case being the Company) has a legal duty to process a “Data Subject’s” Personal information (in this case being your personal information and related details) in a lawful, legitimate, and responsible manner.

 

To discharge this duty, the Company requires your express and informed permission to process your Personal information. By continuing with this application process, you hereby provide the Company with your consent to have your personal information processed and stored in a manner which is consistent with the requirements of POPI.

CONSENT TO PARTICIPATE IN ASSESSMENTS

As part of this application process, you will be invited to complete assessments. These assessments are designed to gain information about your skills which are required for the position you are applying for at Ignition Group. Your participation in the assessments is completely voluntary, and you have the right to withdraw your participation in the process at any time. Your results will be kept strictly confidential and available only to the necessary parties at Ignition. You also have the right to request feedback regarding your results.

Ignition Group will store your assessment data for up to 2 years, after which the data is anonymised and retained for research purposes. The storage timeframe is dependent on the validity period of the results; the need to comply with legal and record retention obligations; your informed consent; and meeting Ignition Group’s legitimate interests.
